Here is a word from Rev. Sally Bingham…
February is officially that month for the National Preach-In on Climate Change. However, any time is a good time to express love for Creation and address climate change as a serious moral issue.
Our focus for 2014 is “Loving Our Neighbors” and “Doing Our Part” for vulnerable communities working on the front lines of climate change, both in North America and around the globe. Please join us in sharing messages about the need for people of faith to mobilize in a religious response to global warming. Whether you are clergy, a lay leader, or a caring individual, sign up your congregation now, we offer links to free resources to help you prepare sermons, reflections, devotionals, Bible studies, children’s activities, and more.
In addition, Interfaith Power & Light offers low-cost resources to help you reach decision makers and mobilize your community. We look forward to your involvement in the 2014 National Preach-In!
With love and faith,
The Rev. Canon Sally G. Bingham
