Overview of the Pope’s Encyclical on Climate Change

Dr. Donnal Walter from the University of Arkansas Medical System and Ark. Children’s Hospital, and an Ark. IPL board member, will present a multi-media overview of the Pope’s Encyclical on Climate Change.

Dr. Dan Bell, founder of the Echo non-denominational free medical clinic and emergency shelter, will be on hand to describe a new solar array installed by Jerry Landrum, a local solar installer. Off-grid back-up $2,000 solar systems are Jerry’s latest “solar in a box” technology. Jerry will have a solar demo trailer available.

Free parking will be plentiful. All are welcome.

Dr. Walter is an Episcopalian. He serves as a Health Care Information Technology Staff Member at two hospitals. He is a Neonatologist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, working with infants in Intensive Care. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School. He has presented conferences on the impact of climate change on children’s health, based on published research from the American Pediatric Association.
