Earth Day

Four Earth Day Events: April 22, 2017

1) Community Garden Day, 
Promise Garden, 12th & Peyton, Little Rock, 10:30-12:30,
Garden Fun and Lunch. Bring any garden tools you may have.
Bring a re-fillable water bottle.

2) Litter Removal in Rogers, Arkansas, 9 a.m. Meet at St. Andrew’s, 820 W. Oak St., Lunch at 11:30. RSVP: njwh2654@aol.com, 479-616-8043.

3) March for Science, Little Rock and Around the World, Meet at 1 p.m. at Capitol & Pulaski, Little Rock. Bring Signs (no sticks), Followed by Advocacy Event, 3-5 p.m., Discovery Museum, 500 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, Presentations and Information on Caring for the Earth.

4) The Sacred Places Project, 5 p.m., Allsopp Park, 3700 Cedar Hill Rd., Little Rock, Worship service of sacred thanks in the woods of Allsopp Park. This event will include a celebration of Holy Communion led by Episcopal clergy. We will build a labyrinth with natural objects. Some folks will be sticking around for a picnic dinner; bring food to share if you would like to join. This will be the first of a series of monthly worship gatherings in the woods.
