Community Event: Summer Solstice Celebration

Dinner & a Movie in the First Community Solar Garden in Arkansas
All Are Welcome. Bring Your Picnic Supper and a Beverage.
Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Arkansas Interfaith Power & Light and Arkansas Renewable Energy Association will present “Racing Extinction” on a large screen.
The projector will be run by solar energy.
Enjoy popcorn popped by the power of the sun, as well as sun tea provided.
The evening will remind you of evenings long ago at the drive-in movie… except updated in a solar garden!
A friend is bringing telescopes so we can see the Full Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars at dark.
Tonight’s full moon is called the Strawberry Moon.
The last time a full moon fell on the Summer Solstice was1986 and the next is 46 years away.
